ISA detection re-ignites long standing debate

With the detection of infectious salmon anemia (ISA), that was found to be present in two juvenile sockeye salmon in British Columbia has re-ignited a long standing debate as to weather salmon farms should be moved inland. The long running debate has been about the sustainability of the aquaculture industry, particularly salmon farms and for a long time now people have been calling for farms to be moved inland, thus protecting the marine environment.
