WAS meets in Nashville for Aquaculture 2013

Three key North American aqua organisations will come together under the World Aquaculture Society's triennial meeting in Nashville, USA, in 2013 from February 21-25.
"This event will attract between three and four thousand visitors and is the biggest event the WAS holds in 2013. It's our international meeting of the year with not only the opportunity to host our regular programme on shrimp but also fin fish genetics, fish health and an opportunity to highlight shell fish in the Americas," he says.

WAS past-president Jay Parsons is co-chair of the programme committee and tells IAF that in addition to WAS the other two organisers included in the triennial meeting are The National Shell Fisheries Association and The Fish Culture Section of the American Fisheries Society.
