03/12/13: Event - Asian-Pacific Aquaculture (APA13)

Excitement is building here at the Aquaculturists HQ in light of the upcoming Asian-Pacific Aquaculture (APA) trade show which takes place next week!

After the first successful meeting in 2007, Asian-Pacific Aquaculture 2013 will be the next chance for the international aquaculture community to visit Vietnam and see the rapidly expanding aquaculture industry in the country.

Vietnam has seen a 50% increase in aquaculture production in the last 5 years -  a 100% per year increase in tons produced every year for the last 16 years.

What will APA involve?
Attendees will be able to see what is happening  to create this growth in Vietnam as well as aquaculture developments in the rest of Southeast Asia.

The show will also include a special Farmer’s Day, providing the latest in practical knowledge for Vietnam’s aquaculture producers.

The 5th Oyster Symposium, organised by the World Oyster Society will be jointly held with APA.

When/where is the show?
APA will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 10-13 December 2013

Two of the International Aquafeed team - Roger Gilbert and Tuti Tan - will be at the show so do come along and say hello if you get the chance!
