Håvard Jørgensen, new Global R&D Director
"I am very pleased that we have been able to fill the important positions both as head of our activities in the United Kingdom and as head of our Global R&D with very strong internal candidates, and at the same time attract a strong experienced profile for the role as Global Technical Director. It will provide both continuity and a strong focus on further development to the benefit of our customers," commented Carlos Diaz, CEO of the BioMar Group.

Håvard Jørgensen started in BioMar in 2000 and worked until 2006 with feed formulation and product development. In 2006 he left BioMar to become first Assisting Director, and later from 2007, General Manager of NSL, the Norwegian Seafood Association. In 2012 he returned to BioMar as R&D Director for BioMar Norway.

"We have over the last years invested in building a strong global R&D organization, which is a fundamental element in our continued expansion process. We are already now seeing the benefits of this in many of our most important markets with strong and innovative concepts like QARDIO, TRI-X, SYMBIO, and ORBIT entering the markets. Håvard Jørgensen will, with his strong management and R&D background, be able to continue that process," said Carlos Diaz.

Patrick Campbell has been with BioMar since 1998. Since 2011 he has been Global R&D Director for BioMar and has taken the lead in establishing a Global R&D team.

Guy Mace will be retiring
"We are very pleased that Patrick Campbell has accepted the challenge to continue the successful work of Guy Mace as Managing Director in Scotland. Patrick Campbell is already located in Scotland and he has an in-depth knowledge of the UK market and the very specific requirements of our customers in this market. Combined with his international career in BioMar this give him a solid platform for taking over the position as Managing Director for BioMar UK," said Carlos Diaz.

At the same time Roger Hendry joins the BioMar Group as Global Technical Director.

"Roger Hendry comes to BioMar with a very solid technical profile and long international career in feed manufacturing. His experience reaches from steering global investment projects to hands-on experience in feed manufacturing for fish and shrimp. Roger Hendry will therefore become a very important contributor in a time, where we have several big investment projects being implemented in different parts of the world," concluded Carlos Diaz.
